2025 Spring Class: Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar


​Musical Encounters, Inc. is excited to announce an upcoming opportunity to enhance your skills in dementia care! Our Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar, a comprehensive 7-hour training program, will provide essential knowledge to improve the lives of elders with dementia.

Location: Conference Room, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baltimore - BWI Airport North 1510 Aero Dr, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090


This seminar is the first step toward becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), equipping healthcare professionals, caregivers, and volunteers with tools to deliver compassionate and effective care.

What to Expect:
Led by expert trainer Lisa Clerman, CTRS, CDP, CVW, CADDCT, CDCM, the seminar will cover critical topics including:

  • Effective communication techniques
  • Managing challenging behaviors
  • Cultural competence and spiritual care
  • End-of-life considerations

Ideal for healthcare professionals, assisted living managers, geriatric care managers, and anyone working or volunteering with elders affected by dementia.
